CAR

From A596 (Carlisle – Workington), Once in continue along Curzon Street. The museum is aprox 200 yards past the traffic lights.

There is on-street disk parking outside the museum, additional parking is located approx. 75 yards past the museum. To access additional parking turn right along Station Street.

 

TRAIN

Station is on the Northern Rail Carlisle - Barrow line. On leaving the station, cross Mealpot Road and walk straight ahead along Station Street to the main road (Curzon Street), turn right. The museum is located adjacent to the pedestrian crossing.

 

BUS

Numbers       30/31              Thornhill – Workington -

                        68B                 Cockermouth -

                        300/301         Whitehaven -   – Carlisle

 

Bus stop outside or opposite Co-op store.  Walk towards pedestrian lights (before the main traffic lights at the crossroads). The maritime museum is immediately on left.
